Aryama Consultants was founded in July 2002 by Rekha C P, a Senior HR Leader and independent consultant with a rare combination of deep practitioner expertise and rigorous academic credentials. The name Aryama is drawn from ancient Sanskrit — it means ‘the noble companion,’ ‘the honourable one,’ and refers to the Vedic solar deity Aryaman, known as the guardian of social harmony, the witness to sacred agreements, and the bringer of light.
For over three decades, Aryama Consultants has served as the trusted HR backbone for startups, SMEs, and established enterprises across India. Rekha C P is a rare professional in the Indian HR consulting landscape — a practitioner who combines 30+ years of frontline HR experience with a Master of Business Law from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru. This unique intersection of HR depth and legal rigour allows her to advise organisations not just on what good HR looks like, but on what legally compliant, risk-mitigated, and ethically sound HR looks like.
Beyond consulting, Rekha is a recognised speaker and trainer. She has served as Visiting Faculty at ICFAI Business School, Guest Faculty at NIAM and Sikkim Manipal University, and as a Campus-to-Corporate facilitator across Bengaluru.
